Single white vampire by lynsay sands free download
Two of the authors wanted to check out the writers' programs, but they promised they'd drop back into the hospitality suite later. Two more left for the cooking demonstration with the same promise. One wanted to take dance lessons and dragged a groaning Chris off to that. Which left Jodi, Kate and Lucern. She happened to glance at Lucern, and was surprised to see him looking uncertain. Jodi noticed as well. Scared the psychic will see something bad in your future," the writer teased. He had spoken in his usual surly tone, but there was a teasing glint in his eyes Kate found she was beginning to recognize.
Jodi apparently recognized it, too, because she laughed. Still, Kate wondered. Lucern had a long past.
Six hundred years. That was a lot of time. Doesn't like sunbathing, garlicky dinners or religious symbols. Likes old-fashioned values; spicy Mexican dishes; warm, nice-smelling neck; and plump red lips. Stronger than ten men and can vanish in the blink of an eye. Currently unaware he's seeking a woman to share eternity. SWF - "Kate C. Perky, fun. When he finds out what he has agreed to, he is furious with mother especially. But she reminds him that he gave his word that he would attend, so he does albeit reluctantly.
Now I absolutely loved this book, I was laughing the whole way through. If you can just imagine a handsome, alpha male and very surly attending the Romantic Times Convention; someone who hates to converse too much and his favorite word is ""no" well its a disaster waiting to happen.
Which is exactly what I was thinking, but as it turned out; Lucern managed it pretty well once he learned how to converse with people and realize how important it is to keep up with his fans. The journey from him saying a few words to have whole conversations however is a riot!! I wouldn't have wanted to miss reading out on this one; so if you need a good laugh; just pick up this book and you will never regret it.
Of course there were other things I enjoyed about it as well. I loved Kate; she is such a enticing character that really just makes you fall in love with her instantly. She is such a warm and lovable character. At first I was thinking there are no two more people more opposite from one another, I have no idea how they will work things out but as it turned out they ended up being complimenting one another and really just perfect for one another.
Because opposites do attract, and in my opinion is one of the best ingredients for a romantic relationship; especially regarding this one. It was filled with passion, witty humor, and characters that will draw you into the story, and make you want to read more. Can I give a book a lower rating just because I don't like the author's take on vampirism?!?
Ok, I do know vampires really aren't real That annoyed me!!! I couldn't get over it I have to admit I'm a sucker for a good vampire romance and this is a great one. It is a wonderful mix of romance and humor which can be sadly lacking in such series as "Twilight" and Christine Feehan's "Dark Series". Lucern Argeneau has been living alone for years interacing with no-one but his family. He has been writing the stories of his family finding their lifemates and sending them to his publisher, who had published his earlier books as histories.
To his surprise, they are being published as paranormal romance. Further, his editor has left the company, and his new editor is now the tenacious Kate C. Not put off by his one word replies to her requests for him to go on tour about his books, she comes to visit him and they eventually fall in love. I have read all of the Argeneau series and this is my favorite.
It is fresh and funny and gives a nice entrance into the series, and though the details of "vampirehood" evolve a bit througout the series, this title has held up well.
I strong recommend it for those who love Paranormal Romance, like me, but get a little tired of how seriously some vampires take themselves.
A fairly decent book for some light reading, but not exceptional in any way. At this point in the series, I decided to pass on this author and haven't looked back since. This book by Lynsay Sands is about Kate and Lucern the vampire. I found this book funny it had some parts that I actually laughed out loud. Kate is an editor and is trying to get Lucern to go on book tours. Eventually she winds up tricking him into going. His books are extremely popular and they are written about vampires.
No one knows that they are actually his family history that he is writing about. It is a cute plot, good characters and all around fun read. I enjoyed reading this book. It was a fun, light hearted, comedy-of-errors, fluff read. This is the kind of book you would use to relax after an expecially stressful day.
The plot isn't complex and there are quite a few misunderstandings with humorous consequences. I struggled with the notion of giving this book a three star but rejected it, based on the fact that I have given many better books than this a three star. Still this isn't quite as bad as the other books I have given a two star Here, we once again re-visit the Argeneau vampire series. This time, grumpy Lucern gets his turn to to find a human chick who can't read his mind to fall in love with and then turn into a vampire.
Predictabiltiy bites. Kate is everything a man would want in an eternity mate. She is fiesty, indespendant, and sexy She is good natured even when dealing with tempermental Lucern. Kate is an editor for the romance novels Luc writes. But really they aren't novels, the are historical novels because they tell what has really happened in his family. The book has been awarded with , and many others.

Leever Editor Roundhouse publishing Co. New York, New York. I received your letter this morning and while I gather you are not interested in a book signing tour, I feel I should stress just how deep the interest in your books are. Your popularity is growing rapidly. Several publications have written requesting an interview. As to a book signing tour, not only have we had phone calls regarding this, but a highly successful bookstore chain with outlets in both Canada and the United States has even announced that it would be willing to foot the bill to have you visit their larger stores.
They would arrange and pay for your flights, put you up in hotels at each stop, and supply a car and driver to collect you from the airport, see you to the hotel, then to the signing and back. This is no small offer and I urge you to consider it carefully. As mail from here to Toronto appears to be quite slow - though your return letters seem to take the usual ten days - I am sending this back overnight express.
I would appreciate your immediate response and please remember to include your phone number this time. Leever Editor Roundhouse Publishing Co. Once again you have forgotten to include your phone number.
