What happened to my downloads folder on android 8.1.0

Once I published my new instructable I deleted the folder again and put back the proper name for the dummy file. Therefore if you have any app that needs to upload pics, like instructables or Facebook then you gotta allow thumbnails permanently or do my workaround.

It's not showing for the apps I installed or for the ones that were preinstalled like it used to before. I don't know if it has anything to do with changing the cards but if it did, then I would expect that the apps that were never moved to the card would be unaffected.

As stated before, if you pulled the card without moving the apps off the card, then it will create problems.
